Applies to: vehicles with load guard
The load guard prevents objects in the luggage compartment from being thrown forward into the passenger compartment.

Installing
Fold down the backrests link►.
Insert the load guard in the slots in the retaining rails -1- and slide it all the way to the left -2-.
Hooking into place
Pull the load guard upwards and hook it into the retainers above the front seats -arrows- Fig. 83►.
Removing
Push the load guard to the right and lift it out of the retaining rails.
CAUTION
- You must remove the load guard before you return the backrest to the normal upright position.
- To prevent any damage, let the load guard retract slowly.
