Secure items of luggage to the fastening rings with non-elastic straps.
Fixed fastening rings
Insert the hooks of the stretch net* into the fastening rings.
Installing/removing variable fastening rings*
To install the fastening rings, press the buttons on both sides and place the fastening rings on the rail -A-.
To remove the fastening rings, press the buttons on both sides and take the fastening rings off the rail.
To secure the stretch net*, fold up the clips on the fastening rings.
Insert the hooks of the stretch net* into the fastening rings.
Moving variable fastening rings*
To move the fastening rings, press the buttons on both sides and slide the fastening rings to the desired position -B-.
During a collision or an accident, even small and light objects can possess so much energy that they can cause very severe injuries.
WARNING
If items of luggage or other objects are secured to the fastening rings with inappropriate or damaged tensioning straps, injuries could result in the event of sudden braking or a collision.
- To prevent pieces of luggage or other objects from flying forward, always use appropriate tensioning straps which are properly secured to the fastening rings.
- Never secure a child restraint system to the fastening rings.
